The Edison Downtown was L.A.'s first ever power plant, built in 1910 by Thomas Higgins, a copper baron. After spending many years derelict and underwater, it was finally rescued by Andrew Meieran and Marc Smith, who have created an incredible post-industrial venue for Los Angeles bar-goers.
